Automotive Product Policy
A legal disclaimer
At SnapFit Labs, many of our automotive products are manufactured using additive manufacturing (3D printing). While we strive to produce high-quality parts, customers should understand the unique characteristics of 3D printed products before purchasing.
Product Appearance
Due to the nature of the 3D printing process, minor cosmetic imperfections may occur, including but not limited to:
-
Visible layer lines
-
Minor surface texture variations
-
Small blemishes or artifacts
-
Slight color variations between production runs
-
Support material contact marks
-
Minor dimensional tolerances
These characteristics are normal and are not considered defects.
Raw Printed Parts
Products sold as Raw Prints are intended to be used in their as-printed condition or prepared by the customer for finishing.
Raw printed parts may exhibit:
-
Visible layer lines
-
Surface imperfections
-
Print seam marks
-
Minor support marks
Customers purchasing raw printed parts acknowledge and accept these characteristics as part of the manufacturing process.
Raw printed parts are not guaranteed to have a showroom-quality finish.
Finished Parts
Products sold as Finished, Painted, Sanded, or otherwise post-processed will undergo additional finishing procedures.
While every effort is made to achieve a high-quality appearance, slight imperfections may still be present due to the underlying manufacturing process.
Fitment
Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility with their specific vehicle before purchase.
While SnapFit Labs performs testing whenever possible, vehicle production variations, aftermarket modifications, prior repairs, and manufacturing tolerances may affect fitment.
Minor adjustment, trimming, sanding, or modification may be required during installation.
Installation Recommendations
Certain SnapFit Labs automotive products may include or recommend the use of supplemental mounting methods such as 3M™ double-sided tape, VHB tape, screws, clips, or other fasteners to achieve optimal fitment and long-term performance.
Installation recommendations provided by SnapFit Labs are based on our testing and intended use of the product. Failure to follow these recommendations may result in reduced performance, improper fitment, movement, loosening, or product failure.
SnapFit Labs is not responsible for issues arising from installation methods that differ from our published recommendations, including the omission of recommended mounting hardware, adhesives, or fasteners.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are installed correctly and are suitable for their specific vehicle and application.
